Wolves Taekwondo & Haidong Gumdo Class Programs
Junior Taekwondo Programs
Ninja Wolf Pack – Ages 5-8 years
Ninja Wolves children learn basic life skills such as respect, confidence and having a positive attitude.
Using these techniques, the children will also develop gross and fine motor skills, special awareness, what to do in an emergency, as well as how to take turns and follow directions.
Children in the Ninja Wolves program are introduced to personal safety techniques, stranger danger and what to do if they become lost.
Commando Wolves – Ages 9-12 years
The Command Wolves will learn the fundamentals of martial arts, Taekwondo and self-defence. The program will keep the Commando Wolves physically fit and improve the benefits of good behaviour, teamwork, good manners, patience and trying their best.
The program covers valuable lessons on bullying, stranger danger and avoiding undesirable situations. In this program, Commando Wolves learn to develop an “I CAN” attitude that is regularly reinforced in class. This opens the door to the gifts of self-esteem, confidence and self-respect that will stay with your child for life!
Senior Taekwondo Program
Senior Wolves – Ages 13 years & over
Seniors and teenagers learn Taekwondo, a martial art that is powerful and easy to learn, as well as street-styled self-defence that is suitable for both men and women. The Senior Wolves Program will give you the advantage needed to protect yourself. We guarantee that even after the first class, students will have usable skills that will stay with them for life.
There is plenty of kicking and punching, lots of pad work and classes are really safe, students should not worry about getting hit or getting injured. The senior classes mix in plenty of strength and conditioning work and are excellent for fun, fitness and endurance.
Wolves Haidong Gumdo Program
The Haidong Gumdo program is for students who are between the ages of 12 years and over. It is particularly suited to teenagers and adults.
Haidong Gumdo is a martial art that consists of sword practise, breathing and meditation techniques.
A typical Haidong Gumdo class consists of activities such as Gumbo (patterns) practice, Cutting practise, Dan Jun breathing exercises and Gyukgum (sparring drills).
